CANYONING

According to Dictionary.com, canyoning "is a sport in which one dresses in protective clothing and jumps into a fast mountain stream for traversing gullies, rapids, and falls on one's back".

I see it a little differently....we usually try not to fall on our backs. Nevertheless, it does occasionally happen.

There are hundreds of canyons to choose from in the Blue Mountains. So most weekends during summer...that's where you'll find me.

I've put trip reports and photos of some of the canyons I've been to.....
