Dave hadn't been down this one for many years, so we decided to give it a go. We walked along the range hill fire trail and followed a track (for most of the way) into Range Creek.
After Dave and Rik both forgot their wetsuits, you guessed it....around the first corner was a rather inviting swim!

We made our way down to the junction with the north branch then climbed out the usual exit. The usual handline had been removed so the scrambling was a bit more difficult than normal, but still reasonably straightforward.
