Federation Peak - January 2007

Party: James Bevan, Pete Harvey, Rachel Melrose and Tom Murtagh

We completed a seven day trip from Scotts Peak Dam to Federation via the Eastern Arthurs and out to Tahune via the Huon (or 'yo-yo') Track.

Pete and Tom wash off the day's mud in Seven Mile Creek

The next day, Pete had to leave us, so he headed off early up Moraine K before walking across the plains and back to the car. We continued across the Arthur Plains

We break at Cracroft Crossing

Getting closer - Fedda is just visible in the distance (left of centre)
